Sample message

Hi Jordan, congrats again on closing! If I helped, would you leave a quick review? It takes about a minute: [link] — Sam (NMLS ID ••••••)
Done! Thanks for everything 🙂
Thank you, Jordan. Enjoy the new place!

How it works

How does the reviews engine ask for reviews?

  1. Loan closes

You mark it closed in the CRM (or it syncs from your pipeline stage).

  2. The ask

A short text and email with a one-tap link to your chosen review profile.

  3. One reminder

A few days later, once. Stops the moment they click.

  4. Shown on your site

Reviews display with source and date, updated regularly.

What are the rules for mortgage reviews and testimonials?

The FTC's rule on consumer reviews (16 CFR Part 465) bans fake reviews, bought reviews and certain suppression; platforms add their own rules. Here's the short version — read the FTC rule for the details.

  • Ask every closed borrower the same way

Selective asking ("only the happy ones") can skew reviews; a consistent ask is fairer and simpler.

  • Never write, buy or fake reviews

The FTC rule bans fake reviews and testimonials, including ones from people who weren't customers.

  • Don't pay or reward only positive reviews

Incentives conditioned on a positive review are prohibited.

  • Show reviews with source and date

Let visitors see where a review came from, and don't edit its meaning.

  • Don't hide negative reviews you display elsewhere

Suppressing honest negative reviews on a platform you control is also covered by the rule.

  • Follow each platform's own review rules

Google, Zillow and others have their own policies on asking for reviews.

FAQ

Reviews questions

How do loan officers get more reviews?

By asking every closed borrower, at the right moment (soon after closing), with a one-tap link to the review profile you choose — then a single friendly reminder. The reviews engine automates the ask and reminder; you approve the wording.

Which review site should I ask borrowers to use?

Usually your Google Business Profile if your company allows one, or whichever profile you personally own and your company approves. Reviews on profiles you own move with you if you switch companies.

Can my website show my reviews?

Yes — real reviews with their source and date. We never invent or edit reviews; on our own site you'll see clearly labeled samples because we're a new company.

What if I get a negative review?

Reply calmly and factually without sharing private loan details. We provide reply templates your compliance team can approve.
